Returning to the countryside pasture where Calm was born, I was drawn once again to the serene beauty of this expansive landscape, eager to capture its essence during the golden hour. The scene was alive with a quiet magic: the warm glow of the setting sun bathed the rolling fields, casting long shadows and illuminating the hay bales with a radiant sunburst. Everything within the frame was perfectly composed, exuding an air of calm and timelessness that inspired the name Still.

Still is the second piece in a series that honors the agricultural beauty of Georgia’s rural landscape through limited edition fine art photography. Captured on 50 acres of farmland at an HBCU in Peach County, this image celebrates the region’s rich heritage and deep-rooted connection to the land. The scene—featuring hay bundles resting beneath radiant blue skies, golden hues, and lush greens—is a striking example of Southern fine art  with a touch of surreal stillness.
