As we navigated the winding backroads of the Southeast—roads filled with history and healing—one scene, in particular, called to me again and again.

Tucked behind the weathered boards of an old corn shed stood a long-abandoned 1941 Ford F-100. Stoic and untouched, it bore the soft blue and brown patina of time—its dignity undiminished by rust or age. Week after week, I passed this hidden relic, captivated by its presence. Then one Sunday evening, everything aligned. As the sun dipped below the horizon, golden rays filtered through the shed, striking the truck with a reverent glow. For one brief moment, it felt as though the headlights were alive again—glimmering with the pride of a past not forgotten.
