On a warm afternoon, while journeying the scenic backroads between Roberta and Culloden, Georgia, we veered off the main road and discovered a hidden treasure: the historic Auchumpkee Creek Covered Bridge.

Originally constructed in 1882 and rebuilt with care in 1997, this 96-foot-long lattice truss bridge once served as a vital artery for transporting goods across the region. Though no longer open to vehicles, it remains a beautifully preserved symbol of Southern heritage, standing with quiet dignity above the creek it once helped navigate.

Drawn by its architectural grace and nostalgic charm, I returned with intention—to frame this structure in the soft light of its natural setting. The result is Got You Covered—a composition of nature-inspired contemporary art that honors both place and memory. Vibrant greens, warm browns, and subtle blues paint a picture of serenity, where craftsmanship meets the natural rhythm of the landscape.
