While living in rural Middle Georgia, my husband and I found peace in these everyday wonders. The challenges of country life were real, but the act of navigating them together brought a deep sense of rhythm and clarity. On one of our countryside drives, we passed a vast pasture where hay bundles had been meticulously arranged. Their quiet symmetry immediately stood out—a visual metaphor for stability and care.

When I returned for the shoot, a soft, silvery sky stretched over the land, creating a surreal calm before the incoming storm. The haystacks sat grounded and resolute under a blanket of gray clouds, embodying strength, patience, and preparation. In that fleeting moment, Calm was born—a tribute to the stillness we often overlook.
