Humble Beginnings @ My HBCU....

I remember like it was yesterday, accepting the opportunity to compete in my first muralist competition on the campus of Fort Valley State University (formally College). I interviewed for FVSC's Josie Hall and was awarded the opportunity to create the wall mural in the common area.  I painted in the evenings following my last class daily, sometimes late into the evenings.
